CCI's freestanding Single-Source LED-EXP is designed for conventional or direct-to-screen exposures with high detail. Unlike the traditional flat-bed or string LED units, our Single-Source LED-EXP was specifically designed for graphic printers that require high resolution and work with high line ruling. The Single-Source LED-EXP will ensure even illumination over the exposure area in minimal time giving the best results for a sharper stencil. This LED exposure unit will also save in bulb usage and costs over metal-halide bulbs which constantly need to be replaced. A typical metal halide bulb should be replaced after 500 hours of use whereas LED bulbs can last up to 50,000 hours. Unlike metal-halide bulbs, LEDs do not require a light integrator and do not waste power and money while they sit idle. This unit has the ability to cut energy use by up to 80% (based on a 5 KW metal-halide). The LED-EXP's PLC-controlled touch screen gives you complete control.
